European consumers spend up to three times more money on flowers than the American consumers. Have you ever wondered why that is? The Flower Council of Holland reveals the answers to these questions and more in its recently published booklet entitled, “8 secrets to successful flower sales – the European way”. This booklet tells you everything you need to know to be just as successful as a European flower shop!!

In co-operation with several flower shops, the Flower Council of Holland developed this booklet to provide florists with tips on how to make small changes in their flower shop and customer approach. Tips that are easy to implement, while at the same time very effective!

 

Since we know how busy the schedule of a florist can be, we have developed these extremely effective tips so that they don’t take up a lot of your time. One of the 8 secrets, for example, is “How to create a ‘Wow’-effect”. This tip invites you to be original when dressing your window; while at the same time encourages you to keep it simple! In summary, the booklet tells florists to be daring, to ensure that the shop has its own style, but most of all to make sure that customers can see that it is a flower shop! Supported by presentation examples from flower shops, this booklet can help florists see what a difference a few small changes can make.
