Thanks to the spontaneous ‘mutation’ Fiesta+ flower buds not only have beautifully colored yellow and pink flames, but each flower is uniquely different from the others. This rose variety averages a flower diameter of 4 to 4 ½ inches, when it is fully open. It is lightly fragranced, making Fiesta+ a truly festive rose. With an average of 12 days its vase life is good. Other favorable characteristics include its sturdy stems (24 to 35 inches long) which transport well. Fiesta has been available from flower suppliers at the Aalsmeer flower auction since the end of May. The flower supply is expected to remain somewhat exclusive for the time being although it will be available year round.
