On a rare occasion, a new cut flower appears on the market and changes the image of an entire product group. The single flowered spray Chrysanthemum called Black Eye is an example of this.

The pure white petals and deep black center make this Chrysanthemum very unique. In addition, it can help to explain where the name came from. A subtle green margin, almost like eyeliner, adds to the open-eyed effect of the flower. The large number of flower buds on each stem is another striking feature and helps Black Eye add volume to a bouquet in a wink!

The vase life is at least three weeks. The product is exclusively sold through the Dutch auctions to ensure that the specific needs of the wholesale can be met as closely as possible. Chrysanthemum Black Eye (Dutch auction code 29088) is supplied as a Santini (stem length 21 inches) and as a straightforward spray (27 ½ inch to 29 ½ inch). Currently 100,000 stems are available each week and this number will rise to 250,000 starting week 17.

New Arrival:  A recent introduction of a new and distinctive cut flower.
