The bright pink petals with their pale pink ‘wingtips’ and striking black center with its purple stamens are responsible for the sizzling color effects. The flower is certainly special: a touch of the 'Seventies' and very stylish indeed.
The flower can reach a diameter of 4 to 4 ½ inches. It has an excellent vase life of 12 to 14 days. This large flowered Gerbera was introduced in 2006 to the Aalsmeer flower auction. (Dutch auction code 27171). Initially the product will remain scarce and unique, as only a few growers are allowed to supply this product.
