Tips for care:

·        Should not be purchased too immature; the first bud must be fully developed and ‘loose’

·        Nerine supplied dry must be put into water immediately; first roll the bunch in newspaper to prevent the stems from curving as they absorb water

·        Blue discoloration can occur at temperatures lower than 35 F.; in addition the edges of the flowers can dry out

·        Optimal storage temperature: 41 to 46 F.
