The consumer is changing. But do green retailers take this into account? In the following presentation made by Jo Read of FCH's UK office at GLEE this year, he shows examples of how the world and the consumer is changing and asks retailers to look at the potential the 'new consumer' - a consumer driven by individualism and design - offers them.
The optimal product is one that not only fits the individual consumer like a glove but also breathes design. The themes 'Just for me' and 'Design' will be compared with 'Senseo' coffee, 'iPODs' and Karl Lagerfeld at Hennes & Mauritz.
