Membership of the programme, and the training days in particular, has proved consistently profitable giving delegates not just the motivation to target corporate clients but also a manageable framework, and the techniques they need, to make gaining corporate clients a realistic and achievable goal.
It is no mean achievement that during the last 2 years an average of 70% of delegates said the workshops were better than expected, and over 80% thought the designs were excellent.
There is no doubt the Flowers for Business programme has been instrumental in giving florists the ‘get up and go’ to help them capitalise on commercial business opportunities.
However, the content of the Flowers for Business programme is now about to change, mainly because we will no longer be running the Business and Design Workshops.
Instead a considerable amount of the information that was delivered at the workshops will now be available on the Flowers for Business dedicated website.
There will be greater emphasis on promoting ‘the benefits of flowers to business’ message directly to businesses themselves through the F4B website, through PR activities and, it is intended, through participation in business focused events and exhibitions.
