This year there are 8 Business and Design workshops planned exclusively for Teleflorist members, one of which is being held in Dublin. Florists will be given tips and advice to build confidence for targeting the lucrative corporate and contract market.
More than 450 florists have attended these workshops over the last 5 years. Run by the Flower Council of Holland the content of the day has proven to help motivate, re-focus commitment and most importantly make more money.
The day is split into two sessions, the morning focuses on:
a. getting the message right for prospective clients
b. presenting your business in the most professional way
c. having a plan of action
d. using your floristry skills to make an impact
The emphasis is on wholly practical tips to present a business case for using flowers and plants in the workplace.
Ian Lloyd will run the afternoon design session which will not only inspire with stunning creativity but also give an extra insight into how to make your work really profitable for the long term.
In essence the day will:
a. sharpen up your business skills
b. strengthen your communication skills
c. focus you on goals for the business
d. inspire you with lots of ideas
e. guarantee – well almost – more sales and extra profit
Give your full commitment to this day, put the ideas into action and the future of your business will take on a whole new look.
