The wholesale picture is now more complex than ever with the traditional markets being challenged by a plethora of other suppliers – out of market wholesalers, direct delivery operations run by UK or Holland based organisations, web-based ordering (and implicitly delivery) systems, individual entrepreneurs and even some niche players offering exclusive products.
Flower trade infra-structure
But the importance of wholesalers to florists has not changed, which is why they continue to be such a key part of the flower trade’s infra-structure. Clearly to retain their market position wholesalers need to be aware of, and have access to, the latest market developments in Holland, which will be an important function of this website.
Wholesalers may also be eligible for some trade support activities which the Flower Council of Holland can organise in association with your supplying Dutch exporter.
