| Left over flowers can be used to create an attractive floating arrangement. The more colours and shapes the better it will be! |
| Step 1
Collect your materials: Gerbera mini ‘Furby’ (26893), Celosia Cristata (54), Rosa Grand Prix (12157), Rosa Lyvera! (27435), Astrantia (69), Dahlia ‘Gerrie Hoek’ (1848), ‘Karma Lagoon’ (13283) and ‘Chanel’ (12262), glass vase, two colours of florist’s wire, round beads, shaped beads in two sizes. |
|
| Step 2
Sprinkle the round beads in the vase to cover the base. |
|
| Step 3
Cut off pieces of wire and fasten them alternately to the large and small shaped beads. |
|
| Step 4
Cut the flower stems off neatly and wrap them with the wire and beads. Carefully lower the flowers into the water. |
|
| The final result
A mixed vase of flowers that remain floating upright due to the weight of the beads. The beads create an attractive effect under water. | ![]() |
