Rhipsalis ‘Curly Kai’ (VBN code 102176) was launched in January during the International Plant Fair (IPM) in Essen (Germany). The supplier of the basic material gave the plant its name. ‘curly’ due to the shape of the leaves and ‘Kai’, one of the meanings of which is ‘chicken’ in Cantonese and Thai is also the supplier’s nickname.
