Sniff with pleasure – taste with care
Some flowers and plants naturally contain toxins. In the case of cut flowers these include Zantedeschia and Gloriosa and it is wise to take precautions with pot plants such as Azalea and Dieffenbachia. When creating your display remember that children can be unpredictable. Some flowers are perfectly edible, e.g. Viola, Lavandula and Tropaeolum, but only when specially cultivated for consumption.
