Tips: Playing with symbols
Symbols are powerful tools of expression. For example, a crucifix stands for faith, peace and Christianity, an egg means fertility or Easter and dead twigs with snowdrops, tulips or fritillaries represent the first stirrings of spring. Colours can also have symbolic value: among other things yellow is the colour of spring and purple the colour of mourning.

Celebrate
Spring is bursting to come out of this metal dish of Fritillaria verticillata (25121), Viburnum opulus ‘Roseum’ (295) and Anthurium Andreanum Grp. Captain (16184).
Star
Sparkling mini bouquet of Ranunculus asiaticus ‘Elegance White’ (20941), Freesia ‘White Giant’ (25089) and Anemone coronaria ‘Marianne White’ (17375) in a classic Art Nouveau vase. The other bouquets contain Tulipa ‘Black Hero’ (25315), Rosa Black Baccara (16469), Fritillaria meleagris (5770), Cordyline fruticosa Black Tie (1995) and Vanda ‘White Magic’ (21140).
Upside down
An original idea for Easter, this Hippeastrum ‘Apple Blossom’ (18976) with Fritillaria meleagris (5770), coconut twigs and goose eggs. The tie is finished with black ribbon. Fill the stems with water.
Day and night
Attached to the arm of a chair is an arrangement of Anemone ‘Meron Bordeaux’ (22905), Fritillaria meleagris (5770) and Syringa x hyacinthiflora ‘Maiden’s Blush’ (18149) fastened to a chunk of pear tree wood.
Crucifix
Parallel bound Anthurium Andreanum Grp. Captain (16184), Lilium longiflorum ‘Worldwhite’ (16794), Syringa ‘Madame Florent Stepman’ (288), Viburnum opulus ‘Roseum’ (295) and pear twigs and a necklace of beads.
